Job summary

Bupa UK is seeking an enthusiastic Activity Coordinator for Newton Court care home in Middlewich. The role focuses on creating a vibrant, inclusive activity program, coordinating events, and collaborating with care teams to boost residents’ wellbeing.

Part-time hours and budgeting are involved, with opportunities to engage with the local community. You will lead sessions, plan activities within a budget, and help maintain social media and resident engagement.

Responsibilities

• Running morning and afternoon activity sessions.
• Producing and updating an activity planner for the home, working to a set activities budget
• Organising birthday surprises for our residents
• Liaising with external companies and performers from the local community to organise days out/events at the home
• Organising one to ones with our residents, this might involve reminiscing tools, puzzles, reading or just a cup of tea and a chat
• Supporting the home with their social media channels as required
