Job summary

CARE CONCERN GROUP LIMITED is seeking a Lifestyle Coordinator at our Newton Mearns facility. You will deliver engaging, person-centred activities to promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction for residents.

You will plan group and one-to-one activities tailored to individual interests and care needs, building strong relationships to understand preferences and support inclusive participation, including residents with dementia. Training is provided for success.

Job description

Our purpose built, luxury 67-bed care facility is located in the charming town of Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire. We are proud to provide a range of services which includes Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite & Palliative Care.

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to full time hours per week including weekends
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Lifestyle Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.

You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs. Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia.

Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected. This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.
