Job summary

Queens Court Care Centre is seeking a Lifestyle-Activity lead to enhance the lived experience of residents by planning and implementing meaningful activities across the home. The role focuses on promoting relationship-centred care and engagement for residents including those with dementia.

The successful candidate will motivate the care team, deliver 80% of activities, and lead the home newsletter. NVQ/HSC Level 3 is preferred though not essential; excellent communication and Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• NVQ HSC level 3 or QCF HSC award 3 (not essential).
• Experience organising and scheduling events or activities.
• Experience with older people and dementia care.
• Strong communication and data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and implementation of a meaningful activities programme across the home.
• Deliver 80% of time delivering vibrant activities to residents.
• Motivate and mobilise care team members to participate in activities.
• Lead on developing the home newsletter reporting events and activities.
