Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a current NPLQ (or equivalent) and strong health & safety knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to remain confident and professional in emergencies; previous lifeguard experience is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pool users and ensure safe operation of the swimming pool.
• Carry out regular poolside checks and maintain vigilance at all times.
• Respond to emergencies and administer first aid when required.
• Ensure adherence to pool procedures and health & safety regulations; assist with pool setup and cleaning.
• Provide excellent customer service to Sports Centre users.
• Support swimming lessons, school activities, and community use as needed.
