Job summary

Sedbergh Sports and Leisure Centre, operated by Bradford Council, is seeking an enthusiastic Leisure Attendant / Swim Teacher to help ensure safety and enjoyment for all visitors.

You will lifeguard, teach swimming and assist at reception, delivering lessons under the Bradford syllabus and ASA guidelines, while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Lifeguard duties, Swim Teaching and Reception responsibilities.
• Follow Bradford Swimming Development Syllabus and ASA guidelines.
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with National Curriculum Key Stage 2 targets.
• Ensure a safe, welcoming learning environment for all users.

Responsibilities

• To be responsible for lifeguarding duties, Swim Teaching and Reception duties.
• To follow Bradford Swimming Development Syllabus and A.S.A. when appropriate.
• To plan, prepare and deliver lessons within the above framework to meet National Curriculum Key Stage 2 targets in consultation with individual schools.
• To ensure a safe learning environment for all users of the service.
