Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Lifeguard to help deliver a safe, clean, and welcoming experience for our members across our leisure centres.

You’ll need the NPLQ qualification and an Enhanced DBS check; First Aid at Work is desirable. We provide full training, opportunities for progression, and a generous benefits package. Hours: 7.5 per week, Monday to Sunday rota. Salary: up to £12.71 per hour. Closing date: 11 September 2026.

Qualifications

• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities
• Well developed interpersonal skills
• Team orientated approach and cross-organisational collaboration

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, clean and welcoming facilities for customers
• Provide high-quality customer service with a smile
• Assist with cleaning, maintenance and preparation of areas and equipment
