The Cheltenham Trust is seeking a Lifeguard for Leisure at Cheltenham. This permanent role offers part-time or casual hours, covering pool supervision, safety checks, cleanliness and first aid for customers and staff.

Shifts run from early to late on weekdays and weekends, with a four-week pattern for part-time staff. An NPLQ qualification is required to apply, and there are opportunities for training and career development.

Competenze

• NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) is required.
• Confident swimmer with a keen interest in sport.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Supervise the swimming pool and ensure safety measures are met.
• Welcoming customers and ensuring their safety, inside and outside the pools.
• Check the safety of equipment and report any damage.
• Keep a consistently high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Assist with supervision of children's activities, including parties, play schemes and courses.
• Provide first aid to customers and staff where required.
