Job summary

Freedom Leisure is hiring a Lifeguard to help people enjoy safe, welcoming leisure centres. You’ll deliver friendly service, maintain clean facilities and uphold high safety standards for swimmers of all ages.

Hours: 37 per week on a rota basis, Monday to Sunday. You’ll need an NPLQ qualification or equivalent, be a competent swimmer, and pass an enhanced DBS check, with a customer‑focused, team‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent.
• Competent swimmer; swim test may be required.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the best levels of service for customers in a friendly, safe environment.
• Maintain clean and safe facilities and assist swimmers as needed.
