Job summary

Unity Holidays is seeking a qualified lifeguard to supervise pool areas, enforce safety rules, and respond to emergencies at our leisure facilities in the UK. The role requires vigilance, clear communication, and a customer-focused approach to provide a welcoming, safe environment for guests and team members alike.

Weekend availability is preferred as the leisure operations are busiest on Saturdays and Sundays.

Qualifications

• National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is required.
• Ability to communicate with a diverse customer and colleague base.
• Ability to keep calm under pressure and respond promptly to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the pool and surrounding areas to ensure safety at all times.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies.
• Carry out regular pool checks and maintain safety equipment.
• Ensure the pool area is clean, inviting and well-maintained.

Hours of Work:

Whilst we do have several contract types available our Leisure operations are busiest at the weekends, so we’ll need you to be flexible and be available for work on Saturdays & Sundays.
