Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Lifeguard to help keep members safe and happy in our gym environment. The role requires weekend work and 16 hours per week, with duties covering the pool, spa, sauna and steam room.

You will be a proactive team player, delivering excellent customer care and maintaining high safety standards. We value enthusiasm and a positive attitude, with opportunities to learn and develop within our facilities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Able to provide ongoing training records.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• A real team player who contributes to a courteous, safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet-side facilities - the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities.
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.
