Job summary

David Lloyd Leisure is hiring a Lifeguard to help keep our pools safe and our members enjoying premium wellness experiences across our clubs in the UK. You will monitor poolside safety, perform tests and ensure documentation stays up to date in line with company guidelines.

As a Lifeguard you must hold an NPLQ qualification, bring a passion for fitness, strong communication and listening skills, and enjoy working as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualified required.
• Passion for health and fitness.
• Strong communication and listening abilities.
• Team-oriented mindset with knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee poolside safety and compliance with health and safety rules.
• Conduct pool tests and ensure documentation is maintained.
• Support members to deliver a great fitness and leisure experience.

With over 180 indoor and outdoor pools at David Lloyd Clubs, our Lifeguards play a vital role in always overseeing the poolside safety as well as being on hand to ensure our members are having a great experience.

You will ensure the pool areas are compliant on all Health and Safety requirements, conducting pool tests in accordance with company guidelines and ensuring that documentation is maintained accurately at all times.

As a Lifeguard:

• You must hold an NPLQ qualification to apply for this role.
• Have a passion for all things health and fitness.
• Strong engagement, communication and active listening skills.
• A team player, happy to share knowledge and best practice.
