Job summary

David Lloyd Leisure is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to join our premium health and wellness group in the UK. You will supervise pool areas, uphold safety standards and ensure a welcoming, high-quality member experience.

You will conduct pool tests in line with company guidelines, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with club teams to deliver excellent, safe services for our members and their families.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification required.
• Passion for health and fitness.
• Strong engagement, communication and active listening skills.
• A team player, happy to share knowledge and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee poolside safety and monitor pool area.
• Conduct pool tests and maintain documentation.

With over 180 indoor and outdoor pools at David Lloyd Clubs, our Lifeguards play a vital role in always overseeing the poolside safety as well as being on hand to ensure our members are having a great experience.

You will ensure the pool areas are compliant on all Health and Safety requirements, conducting pool tests in accordance with company guidelines and ensuring that documentation is maintained accurately at all times.

As a Lifeguard:

• You must hold an NPLQ qualification to apply for this role.
• Have a passion for all things health and fitness.
• Strong engagement, communication and active listening skills.
• A team player, happy to share knowledge and best practice.
