Job summary

Equans is seeking a Lifecycle Project Site Supervisor for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on a permanent basis. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a salary of £30,000–£35,000 per year plus benefits.

You will oversee site delivery of lifecycle projects, support the project manager, manage sub-contractors, ensure efficient resource use, and maintain health & safety and quality controls on multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Experience of construction areas and relevant knowledge of building legislation and building and construction projects.
• Strong ICT skills.
• Strong people management skills.
• Experience of managing specialist sub-contract supply chains.
• Excellent understanding and adherence to SHEQ practices.
• Up to date relevant knowledge and experience of Health and Safety legislation.
• Microsoft Office or other relevant IT related qualification (Desirable).
• SSSTS (Desirable).
• IOSH (Desirable).
• Driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the site delivery of capital works and lifecycle projects as part of the project delivery team at the QEH.
• Support the project manager to manage site H&S, site management, snagging and handover of every project, including monitoring of Trade Operatives and Sub-Contractors.
• Responsible for the supervision of sub-contractors delivering a wide range of project works.
• Ensure efficient use of resources, with proper job planning, appointments, materials, plant and equipment.
• Manage health & safety on all projects and completion, snagging and handover of projects.
• Manage Quality Control through structured monitoring and auditing.
• Liaise with the client on formal and informal bases.
• Arrange licences, permits etc. to execute works correctly.
