Job summary

Equans is seeking a Lifecycle Project Site Supervisor for a permanent role at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. The post is full-time (37.5 hours/week) with a competitive salary and benefits.

You will manage site delivery of capital works and lifecycle projects as part of the project team, support the project manager with H&S, snagging, handover, and supervise subcontractors to ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to SHEQ practices.

Qualifications

• Experience of construction areas and relevant knowledge of building legislation and building and construction projects.
• Strong ICT skills.
• Strong people management skills.
• Experience of managing specialist sub-contract supply chains.
• Excellent understanding and adherence to SHEQ practices.
• Up to date knowledge and experience of Health and Safety legislation.
• Driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the site delivery of capital works and lifecycle projects as part of the project delivery team at the QEH.
• Support the project manager to manage site H&S, site management, snagging and handover of every project, including monitoring a team of Trade Operatives and Sub-Contractors.
• Responsible for the supervision of sub-contractors delivering a wide range of project works.
• Ensure efficient use of resources and that job planning, appointments, materials, plant and equipment are utilised and improved in line with service targets.
• Manage health & safety on all projects and the necessary completion, snagging and handover of all projects.
• Monitor Quality Control through a structured process and audits.
• Liaise with the client on formal and informal bases.
• Arrange licences, permits etc. to ensure works are executed correctly.
