Job summary
Arc School Ansley, part of Kedleston Group Limited, is seeking a Life Skills Teacher with shared Personal Development Lead responsibilities to support students aged 11–17 with SEND/ASC.
Deliver engaging lessons, lead CPD for staff and parents, and drive school development initiatives in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team.

Qualifications
- QTS is essential for the role.
- Experience with SEND/ASC is highly desirable.
- Experience in Personal Development Lead responsibilities is preferred.
- Ability to manage a diverse class and motivate learners.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to CPD and innovative teaching methods.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons to support academic and personal growth.
- Create a positive learning environment and monitor progress with feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school community.

- Design and deliver CPD for staff and parents/carers.
- Report priorities to SLT using data-driven insights.
- Drive improvement in teaching and learning through staff development.
- Support NPQ in partnership with senior leaders.
