Job summary

G2 Legal Limited seeks a Senior Associate to strengthen its life sciences patent litigation team. You will handle complex matters before the UPC and UK High Court, advising international clients and coordinating cross-border disputes.

The role offers exposure to high-value, multi-jurisdictional cases and collaboration with leading practitioners on strategic patent enforcement and litigation issues in Europe and beyond.

Qualifications

• Qualified UK Solicitor or Barrister with substantial patent litigation experience.
• Senior Associate level experience within a leading IP or litigation practice.
• Proven life sciences patent litigation experience
• Experience with, or strong knowledge of, UPC proceedings

Responsibilities

• Acting on complex patent litigation matters within the life sciences sector
• Handling proceedings before the UPC and UK High Court
• Managing and contributing to multi-jurisdictional patent disputes
• Developing litigation strategies for complex international matters
• Drafting pleadings, submissions, correspondence and other legal documents
• Analysing complex legal, technical and scientific issues
• Working closely with experts, counsel and international legal teams
• Advising international clients on patent enforcement and litigation strategy
• Managing elements of complex cases and taking responsibility for client matters
• Supporting business development, pitches and the development of client relationships
