Job Opportunity: Life Actuarial Support Role

Our client has an exciting career opportunity for a talented graduate or part-qualified life actuarial student to support a number of diverse workstreams.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Providing support for experience analyses and recommending valuation assumptions
2. Solvency II valuation, including Pillar I, II, and III
3. Statutory valuation, including UKGAAP and IFRS 9 & 17
4. Management of with-profits business, including recommendations on investment strategy and bonus rates
5. Development and maintenance of actuarial models
6. Asset Liability Management

Candidate Profile:

• Highly numerate with experience in data analyses
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and Word
• Good communication skills
• Experience of working within the Actuarial Function of a UK Life insurer is desirable
• Applicants no longer studying for the exams will be considered
