Job Description:

Join the Audi F1 Project - Shape the Future of Motorsport!

Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has three locations: Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany), Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), and the Sauber Motorsport Technical Center in the UK, which will be operational this year. Our Power Unit is developed in Neuburg, while Hinwil focuses on chassis development and race operations.

What you need? The mindset of an athlete. If giving up isn’t an option for you and limits are just challenges to overcome, you can bring Vorsprung durch Technik to Formula 1 with us. Become part of this unique project and make motorsport history.

This position for the Audi F1 Project is based at Sauber in Hinwil, Switzerland.

Your mission

This is a bold and ambitious project focused on building a world-class merchandising, licensing, and retail business. In this fast-paced, start-up environment, we seek a Licensing & Merchandising Specialist who can combine strategic vision with hands-on execution. The role involves developing and managing our licensing business, working closely with licensees and partners, and supporting merchandising activities. The ideal candidate must be adaptable, proactive, and comfortable switching between strategic planning and operational execution.

  • Support the development and implementation of a licensing strategy aligned with the Audi F1 Project’s brand and commercial objectives.
  • Manage and oversee the end-to-end licensing process for branded products, ensuring operational efficiency, brand guideline compliance, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with brand and marketing teams to create compelling product offerings aligned with the brand’s vision.
  • Support negotiations and execution of licensing agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with licensees and partners to drive brand growth.
  • Monitor and analyze licensed product performance, providing insights to optimize sales strategies.
  • Manage merchandising back-office activities, including processing orders and coordinating with logistics for timely delivery.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to identify new licensing opportunities and stay ahead.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in licensing management, preferably within the sports industry or for a sports brand/club.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with experience managing key partners and stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of licensing agreements, intellectual property rights, and contract law.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and influence at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
  • Passion for sports and a strong understanding of consumer behavior and market trends in sports merchandise.
  • Proficiency in English; German skills are an advantage.
