Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has three locations: Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany), Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), and the Sauber Motorsport Technical Center in the UK, which will be operational this year. Our Power Unit is developed in Neuburg, while Hinwil focuses on chassis development and race operations.

This position for the Audi F1 Project is based at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).

Your mission

This project aims to build a world-class merchandising, licensing, and retail business. We are seeking a Licensing & Merchandising Specialist to develop and manage our licensing business, working closely with licensees and partners. The role involves strategic planning and operational execution, requiring adaptability and proactivity.

  • Support the development and implementation of a licensing strategy aligned with the Audi F1 Project’s brand and commercial objectives.
  • Manage and oversee the end-to-end licensing process for branded products, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with brand guidelines, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with brand and marketing teams to create compelling product offerings aligned with the brand’s vision.
  • Negotiate and execute licensing agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
  • Maintain strong relationships with licensees and partners to drive brand growth.
  • Monitor and analyze licensed product performance, providing data-driven insights to optimize sales.
  • Manage merchandising back-office activities, including processing orders and coordinating with Logistics for timely delivery.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to identify new licensing opportunities.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in licensing management, preferably within the sports industry or for a sports brand/club.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills managing key partners and stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of licensing agreements, intellectual property rights, and contract law.
  • Excellent communication skills to present and influence at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail.
  • Passion for sports and understanding of consumer behavior and trends in sports merchandise.
  • Proficiency in English; German skills are advantageous.
