Job summary

Music Ally is seeking a detail‑oriented role in the live music licensing space. You will liaise with Artists’ Management and Agents to prepare promoter/tariff sheets, and you will create Setlist Calculation Sheets for each tour.

You will coordinate with promoters, venues and festivals on direct licensing, obtain post‑show settlements, and handle invoice generation and tax paperwork. Flexible hours/locations offered.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Artists’ Management and Agents to create and populate Promoter and Tariff rate information sheets for tours.
• Create Setlist Calculation Sheets for each tour.
• Coordinate with Promoters, Venues and Festivals about Direct Licensing for upcoming shows.
• Obtain Setlists and Settlements from Artist teams after each show.
• Check Setlists against Potential Works Sheets for accuracy.
• Generate License fee invoices and related withholding tax sheets as needed.

Job description

This is a full-time role at the global leader in assisting Rightsholders (writers & publishers) to Direct License their Live Public Performance Rights.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum two (2) years full-time experience working at a Publisher, PRO, or in Artist Management, or an established company involved in the live industry.

SKILLSET:

• ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
• Ability to multitask, and efficiently and effectively manage time.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Team player.
• Ability to accept and learn from any errors made (we’re all human), and make the necessary adjustments going forward.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written (English required, but secondary languages also preferred).
• Experienced in using IT: Mail, Numbers, Excel, Pages, Word.
• Understanding of music publishing & copyright processes.
• Discretion.

ROLE:

• Liaising with Artiste’s Management and Agents to create and populate Promoter and Tariff rate information sheets for the tours.
• Creating Setlist Calculation Sheets for each tour.
• Liaising with Promoters, Venues and Festivals about Direct Licensing occurring on upcoming shows.
• Liaising with the Artiste’s team (Manager, Tour Manager, Tour Accountant) to obtain the Setlists and Settlements after each show.
• Checking Setlists against the Potential Works Sheets.
• Creating License fee invoices.
• Creating Withholding tax sheets where relevant and request instruction from the Rightsholders.
• Sending and liaising with Promoters, Venues and Festivals about Setlist Calculation Sheets and License fee invoices, and managing accounts receivable.
• Obtaining License fees.
• Processing bespoke accounting for Publishers.
• Researching/confirming PRO live tariff rates & structures, and distribution policies.
• Provide data for internal and external stakeholders as needed.
