Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a civilian Mental Health Licensed Practical Nurse at the ATAMMC (Dumfries Ambulatory Health Center) in Dumfries, Virginia. Full-time schedule; 40 hours per week, 7:00am to 3:30pm or 8:00am to 4:00pm. Join a team supporting active military members, veterans and dependents in an outpatient setting.

Lead P.O.C. for psychiatry patients, ensure accurate dosing records, and assist with training new staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
• 2 years of experience as a LPN, preferably in Mental Health.
• Current license in good standing from any state.
• Current BLS certification.
• Immunizations up-to-date; US citizen

Responsibilities

• Lead P.O.C. for psychiatrists and psychiatry patients.
• Maintain accurate patient dosing records.
• Assist with training new personnel.
• High Risk List management / ensure weekly follow-up.
• Manage vital sign equipment and room (functional, charged, clean).

• Management of vital sign equipment and room: working properly, charged, clean

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) School / Program
• 2 years of experience as a LPN, preferrably in Mental Health
• Valid and current license from any state
• Current BLS certification
• Must furnish immunizations
• Must be a U.S citizen (proof required)
