Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a staff Physical Therapist. This on-site role requires a Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and a valid unrestricted license in the United States, with BLS certification.

You will work in a high-volume clinical setting, serving military personnel and their families. The position is full-time/part-time with Monday–Friday schedules, located at the Dumfries Ambulatory Care Clinic in Dumfries, VA.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college of Physical Therapy.
• Must have and maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience within the preceding three (3) years.
• Must have and maintain a valid, unrestricted license in one of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with patients and staff.
• Must have knowledge of computer operations and proficiency in basic word processing, data entry, and automated records

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction and enhance physical and functional abilities.
• Restore, maintain, and promote optimal physical function, wellness, fitness, and quality of life related to neuromusculoskeletal health.
• Prevent impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities resulting from diseases, disorders, conditions, or injuries.
• Provide orthopedic clinical care for ages 15–64, including active-service members, retirees, and their family members
