Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a qualified electrician to deliver electrical installations and commissioning on site. You will work from drawings, set out jobs, and requisition materials while ensuring compliance with current regulations and safety standards.

The role requires City & Guilds 2360/2382-10 and 2391-10 qualifications, experience with LV distribution, and a proactive approach to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Qualified to City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent NVQ & C&G 2382-10 18th Edition, minimum requirements.
• C&G 2391-10 Inspection & Testing.
• Experience of commercial electrical installations.
• Experience of installation of LV distribution systems.
• DC/UPS system experience is advantageous.
• First Aid, IPAF and PASMA training provided if required.
• Preferably SMSTS, SSSTS or IOSH.

Responsibilities

• Approved Electricians must possess practical and electrical engineering skills with supervisory knowledge to work on their own efficiently.
• Set out jobs from drawings and requisition installation materials.
• Install and modify electrical components and systems including 1st & 2nd fix, power & lighting, commissioning.
• Carry out testing and inspection for certification.
• Assist with information for estimates/quotations.
• Adhere to safety rules and practices.
• Install trays, ladders, conduits as per drawings.
• Attend mandatory training workshops and RAMS per project.
• Provide progress information per Project Programme and follow RAMS.
• Adhere to the Quality Management System for M&E systems.
