Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Electrician to undertake electrical installation, testing and inspection in line with current regulations and standards. The role emphasizes safe working practices and compliance with Health & Safety policies as part of a facilities management team.

Applicants should possess a recognised electrical apprenticeship, 18th Edition qualification, and a valid CSCS card, with IPAF/PASMA being preferred.

• Craft qualification such as a recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent (City & Guilds 2350 NVQ Level 3)
• Current wiring regulations qualification (18th Edition)

Responsibilities

• Undertake all aspects of electrical installation, testing and inspection in accordance with current regulations and building standards.

About The Role:

Working Pattern

Monday to Friday 08.00 - 17.00 one hour unpaid for lunch

Key Hiring Criteria:

• Applicant must have the right to work in the UK.
• Experience working as an Approved Electrician / Electrician within the Construction Industry post apprenticeship.
• Be familiar with all aspects of electrical installation, testing and inspection.
• IPAF & PASMA (preferred)
• Full clean driving licence

Essential Qualifications

• A craft qualification such as a recognised electrical apprenticeship such as or equivalent to City & Guilds 2350 NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Engineering + AM2
• The current wiring regulations qualification such as or equal to City & Guilds 2381-18 Level 3 Award (18th Edition)
• Valid and in date Grade card/CSCS Card or equivalent qualification
• An Inspection & Testing qualification such as or equal to City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations
