Puro Associates are representing a growing law firm seeking a Senior Conveyancer to lead a residential property team and manage a small group alongside own caseload. The role offers autonomy, a clear path for progression and a focus on client relationships.

You will handle a broad conveyancing portfolio, including sales, purchases, leaseholds, remortgages and equity releases, while contributing to business development and team growth.

Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancer looking for your next career move? We’re working with an established and growing law firm that is looking to appoint a Senior Conveyancer to join and help develop its residential property team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys managing their own caseload, building strong client relationships and taking an active role in supporting the wider team. The applicant should have management experience, as they will be expected to manage a small team in addition to running their own caseload.

The Role

You will handle a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including:

• Residential sales and purchases


• Leasehold transactions


• New-build properties


• Remortgages


• Equity release matters


• Transfers of equity


• Managing client and introducer/referrer relationships


• Supporting the development and growth of the team


• Maintaining high standards of compliance and client service


• Contributing to business development and ongoing team improvement

About You

We’re looking for someone with solid experience within a busy residential conveyancing environment who can work confidently with minimal supervision. You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience managing or mentoring a team


• Excellent organisational and time-management skills


• Strong attention to detail and compliance awareness


• Confident communication and relationship-building skills


• A commercial approach and an interest in business development


• Good IT skills and experience using case management systems


• The ability to manage a varied caseload from instruction through to completion

Formal qualifications are desirable but not essential for the right candidate. The business is committed to supporting professional development and would be happy to discuss routes such as CLC or SQE where appropriate.
