Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer at RNAS Yeovilton, near Yeovil, Somerset, to deliver safe, airworthy aircraft for our customer in a fast-paced environment.

As part of a skilled aviation team, you will lead maintenance activities, ensure regulatory compliance and support the release to service of aircraft. This on-site, full-time role involves 40 hours per week on a 4-in-7 shift, including weekends.

Qualifications

• CAA Part 66 B1.2 licence required.
• Supervisory experience within an aviation environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead aircraft maintenance activities and supervise technicians and inspectors.
• Certify and release aircraft to service following maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and procedures.
• Maintain high safety, quality and airworthiness across all tasks.
• Collaborate with customers and engineering stakeholders to deliver serviceable aircraft.
