The role

As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and maintenance of aircraft, supporting flying activities, and maintaining certification and paperwork. You will work alongside Babcock and military colleagues, adopting a ‘Whole Force’ approach to our operations.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Aircraft inspections
2. Aircraft maintenance
3. Supporting paperwork and certification

This is a full-time, on-site role at Boscombe Down.

Essential experience:

• Experience in the aircraft industry
• Experience working in a Part 145 environment
• Knowledge of safety management systems (SMS)

Qualifications:

• Hold a CAA Part 66 B1.2 licence

Security Clearance

• The candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC clearance.
