The Role

We are currently recruiting a B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to assist the Crew Chief. The engineer will report to the Chief Engineer and be responsible for the safety, regulatory compliance, and operational performance of all Part-145/A8-23 aircraft maintenance activities within the Aircraft Maintenance department and detached locations. The role also involves supporting engineering decisions and guiding personal and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the overall performance of the aircraft maintenance operation and personnel at relevant stations.
  • Promote a “Just Culture” regarding safety and reporting of occurrences.
  • Be responsible for maintenance and certification of aircraft and equipment allocated by the Crew Chief.
  • Support operations and maintenance of aircraft at main base and detached locations worldwide.
  • Supervise and perform ground movements of assigned aircraft.
  • Ensure technical staff adhere to safety standards and follow Maintenance Manuals and Organisation Exposition.
  • Certify maintenance performed by the team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of aircraft documentation related to maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate engineering activities to enable the team to meet targets within budget.
  • Bring previous experience from an aircraft maintenance environment, including line, base, or workshop settings.
  • Hold an unrestricted CAA Part 66 B1 and/or B2 licence with relevant type ratings and/or company authorisations, with over 5 years of proven experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Possess good knowledge of regulatory requirements related to aircraft maintenance.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Strong communication, team-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to motivate and influence change aligned with company values.
  • Experience or understanding of continuous improvement projects.
