Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Limited is supporting an established aerospace MRO at Stansted in recruiting an EASA B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Engineer. You will maintain helicopters (AW139, S-92A, S76C++, H155) and complete accurate documentation, liaising with internal teams and suppliers for parts.

B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Engineer Stansted | £78,450 - £90,000 (depending on aircraft types worked on) | Monday - Friday, 08.00am - 16.30pm Are you a qualified EASA Licensed B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Engineer looking for a role that combines technical expertise with stability and career development? We are working with a reputable aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) organisation at Stansted. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse helicopter types, including AW139, S-92A, S76C++, and H155, in a professional environment committed to safety and quality. What you'll be doing
  • Perform aircraft maintenance on helicopters in line with company procedures and standards.
  • Complete accurate aircraft documentation, including daily handovers and work sheets.
  • Assist with planning and performing scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to source parts and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
  • Ensure all test equipment and tools are calibrated and inspected regularly.
  • Act as a point of contact for customer and crew enquiries, providing professional communication and support.
  • Maintain high safety standards by adhering to health and safety protocols and promoting a safe working environment.
  • Support administration duties related to aircraft maintenance and documentation.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives to enhance your technical skills.
What you'll bring to the team
  • A valid EASA B1.3 Aircraft Maintenance Licence, with practical experience in helicopter maintenance.
  • Experience working on at least one of the following aircraft types: AW139, S-92A, S76C++, or H155; experience on multiple types is preferred.
  • Additional certifications such as 'C' type or dual (B1/B2) licences are advantageous and attract higher salary or pay supplements.
  • Understanding of aircraft documentation, maintenance planning, and safety regulations.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
