Job summary

Culture Perth and Kinross is seeking a Library Manager at AK Bell Library, covering services across Perth and Kinross. The role is 36 hours per week with some flexibility to support opening hours and five days Monday to Friday.

You will lead library services, drive community engagement, manage staff, and deliver the library strategy. A post-school qualification in librarianship or related field and line-management experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Post-school qualification in Librarianship, Library and Information Studies, Community Learning, Customer Service or related subjects.
• Experience of line managing and developing staff teams.
• Record of supporting library development and community engagement at senior level; report writing and communicating impacts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality community and customer services across Culture Perth and Kinross Library venues.
• Increase public engagement with frontline Library Services.
• Lead on the implementation of the Library Strategy and manage partnerships to deliver community projects.
