Alder Community High School is seeking a skilled Librarian to manage the school library, promote reading for pleasure, and support literacy development across the curriculum. The role involves coordinating and delivering targeted reading interventions, tracking progress, and organising engaging library activities.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will maintain records, manage the library system, and help create an inclusive learning environment for all students, with a 36-hour week

Responsabilités

• Manage all aspects of the school library and library resources.
• Coordinate and deliver reading interventions and promote reading for pleasure.
• Support curriculum delivery across subjects and year groups.
• Curate book displays and engaging library activities and events.
• Maintain accurate records of loans and intervention outcomes.
