We are specifically working with a ‘Good’ secondary school in North Manchester as a librarian, on an ongoing basis, likely to be for the full academic year on a full-time basis. This role will be term time plus an additional 5 days.
The library is the heart of our school community. It’s a place where students can explore, discover, and grow intellectually. The school library is a vibrant hub where students engage in research, independent study, and creative projects. As a Library Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school library. You will work closely with students, teachers, and other staff members to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for learning and exploration.
This is a brilliant chance to get involved in a school that puts the students first with a warm, happy, and safe environment. The staff and students have a sense of pride in their diverse culture and celebrate this with a culture day, which focuses on the different backgrounds that make their community better.
