We are seeking experienced, reliable, and creative individuals to join our team. Our Museums Assistants are the first point of contact for visitors. Main duties include providing a welcoming environment, answering enquiries, handling bookings, delivering activities, and engaging visitors both in person and online.
You will need excellent customer service and organizational skills, and the ability to assist with security, maintenance, and operations of the site. Experience in delivering activities, demonstrations, tours, and handling retail sales and transactions is also required.
Stockport Museums operate several venues including Stockport Air Raid Shelters, Bramall Hall, Hat Works, Stockport War Memorial Art Gallery, Staircase House, and Stockport Museum.
