Job summary

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Mental Health Liaison Team nurse to provide assessment and care planning for patients in a fast-paced acute mental health setting.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team across acute hospital wards, drugs and alcohol services, social services, and charities, contributing to a 7-day Core 24 service with supervision and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registered Mental Nurse with current registration (RMN).
• Mentorship, ENB 998 or level 3 teaching/assessing in clinical practice.
• Experience in mental health liaison or crisis services is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan care for patients in liaison service.
• Liaise with mental health services and acute inpatient units.
• Work flexible hours to provide 7-day Core 24 service.
