Job summary

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust is recruiting a Mental Health Liaison Practitioner (Band 6) to join the Psychiatric Liaison Service across three acute hospitals in Coventry, Nuneaton and Warwick, supporting patients in A&E and general hospital settings.

The post requires professional registration in mental health nursing, social work or allied health professions, with demonstrable clinical experience, excellent communication, and strong teamwork to deliver a high-standard 24/7

Qualifications

• Professional registration in mental health nursing, social work or allied health professions.
• Demonstrable clinical experience in mental health settings.
• Excellent communication and strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric liaison support in A&E and hospital settings.
• Work across three sites: Coventry, Nuneaton and Warwick.
• Contribute to CORE 24 objectives and potential community follow-up.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, OT and psychiatrists.
