Job summary

Dalcour Maclaren is seeking a focused Liaison Officer who will act as the main interface between clients and landowners, occupiers and agents. You will proactively secure consents, manage land referencing, and keep stakeholders informed to meet project timelines.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, knowledge of agriculture and rural affairs, and strong communication skills. A collaborative, organised mindset and willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

• Be the main interface between the client and landowners, occupiers and agents on a day-to-day basis and build key relationships.
• Proactively engage with landowners to secure the consents required.
• Keep the client up to date and advise them on practical matters affecting land.
• Complete land referencing, including finding owners and occupiers of land.
• Deal with landowner complaints regarding on-site activities.
• Arrange site visits for serving notices and undertaking record of conditions and site meetings.
• Assist the team and settle compensation claims.
• Maintain accurate stakeholder records tracking progress and provide clear records of condition.
• Work in line with client-set timeframes and targets to ensure timely delivery.
• Work closely with project teams, often operating directly from the project / client site.
• Build and maintain own knowledge and skills through company-run training.
