Job summary

Dalcour Maclaren is seeking a Liaison Officer to act as the main link between clients, landowners and agents on a day-to-day basis, driving consents and managing relationships.

You will engage with landowners, arrange site visits, manage land referencing, and support compensation processes while working to project timelines and targets. A UK driving licence and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and well organised to manage multiple landowner interactions.
• Team player with a can-do attitude and a practical approach to problems.

Responsibilities

• Be the main interface between clients, landowners, occupiers and agents, building key relationships.
• Proactively engage with landowners to secure the consents required.
• Keep the client up to date and advise on practical matters affecting land.
• Complete land referencing, including finding owners and occupiers of land.
• Deal with landowner complaints regarding on-site activities.
• Arrange site visits for notices, records of conditions and site meetings.
• Assist the team and settle compensation claims.
• Maintain accurate stakeholder records and provide clear records of condition.
• Work to client-set timeframes to ensure timely delivery of the programme.
• Work closely with project teams, often from the project/client site.
• Maintain knowledge through company-run training.
