Dalcour Maclaren is recruiting for a Consents & Liaison Officer in Bury St Edmunds to coordinate land access, liaise with landowners and clients, and support project delivery across the Utilities and Infrastructure sector.

The role involves working on site with project teams, arranging access, serving notices, and handling reinstatement and land-related claims while maintaining robust records and client updates.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Strong knowledge of agriculture and rural affairs.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Commercially minded with a willingness to use innovation and technology to deliver efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage liaison activities with clients, contractors, landowners, farmers, occupiers and other stakeholders in support of client objectives.
• Arrange access to private land and serve notices.
• Obtain agreements/consents and evidencing condition of land before entry.
• Advise and agree reinstatement of land and deal with agricultural loss claims.
• Ensure the team proactively engages with landowners and occupiers on site, projecting a professional image of the client and DM.
• Work closely with project teams, often operating from project/client site.
• Maintain good record keeping and provide regular client updates with IT systems.
