Job summary

Crawford & Company is seeking a claims professional to manage a dedicated liability claims caseload, covering EL/PL, with potential to work toward field-based adjustments.

You will work with an assigned Liability Adjuster on complex claims, gather evidence, explain policy details non-technically, and strive for swift resolution while maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience of Liability (EL/ PL) end to end caseload management.
• Claims delegated authority of £25,000 or above.
• Ability to make quantum decisions.
• Prioritise claims, SLA’s and be comfortable in a KPI target environment.
• Knowledge of FSA procedures and the TCF initiative.
• Excellent customer service, organisational & communication skills.
• Desirable: An insurance qualification such as CII or equivalent.
• Maintain awareness of Business Continuity programme and role within it.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own liability claims caseload (EL/PL) end to end.
• Collaborate with an assigned Liability Adjuster on more complex claims.
• Gather relevant evidence and understand policy cover to explain liability non-technically.
• Negotiate settlements and manage pushbacks to swift resolution.
• Opportunity to develop into a field-based Adjuster with study support and career development.
