Job summary

IPS Group is hiring a Commercial Claims Handler - Casualty in Manchester. You will manage EL/PL personal injury claims from notification to settlement, investigate liability and liaise with stakeholders. The role offers a hybrid working model with homeworking up to two days per week and opportunities to handle more complex claims as you gain experience.

The salary is up to £35,000 DOE plus bonus and benefits, with support toward professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience handling personal injury claims (EL/PL).
• Background in Motor, Employers' Liability or Public Liability is a plus.
• Ability to manage a caseload from notification to settlement.

IPS Group is working with a well-regarded insurer that is looking to strengthen its Casualty team with the appointment of a Commercial Liability Claims Handler in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience handling personal injury claims who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and growing team environment.

You’ll be responsible for managing a caseload of EL and PL personal injury claims from initial notification through to settlement, investigating liability, liaising with key stakeholders and ensuring claims are handled efficiently and in line with company procedures. There will also be the opportunity to gain exposure to more complex and higher-value claims as your experience develops.

We’re keen to speak with individuals who have previous personal injury claims handling experience, whether from an insurer, broker, legal practice or third-party administrator. Experience within Motor, Employers' Liability or Public Liability claims would all be of interest.

In return, you’ll receive a salary of up to £35,000 DOE, bonus potential and a competitive benefits package.
