Job summary

Driving Logistics is seeking experienced LGV1 drivers for Slough-based shifts. You will handle UK and European routes, including overnight stays, with new Volvo trucks and excellent in-cab facilities. Immediate starts are available for suitable candidates who have recent LGV1 driving history and a clean licence.

Expect 10-hour minimum shifts, nights out, and weekly pay. After a 13-week temp–perm period you may be taken on full-time by the client.

Qualifications

• At least 24 months LGV1 experience and recent LGV1 driving.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• UK driving licence, CPC and tachograph documentation required.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries to RDCs and collections from airports (Heathrow) and docks.
• Drive UK and Europe routes, including overnight shifts.
• Be flexible with start times and enjoy weekend rotations as needed.

# LGV1 UK and Europe Tramping Drivers – Sloughby Marc | Jul 9, 2026Driving Logistics are looking for Class 1 drivers to work for a client based in Slough. This client is a large outfit specialising in freight distribution throughout the UK and Europe. Therefore, we are after drivers who can commit to various on-going rotas as follows: A level D Security pass for the Airport is desirable, training can be looked at if you don’t hold one.5 on 2 off to include 1 or 2 days over the weekend.£42Kpa + Overnight money up to £46KpaThese positions are 13 week Temp – Perm, at the end of this period you will be Taken on Full time by the client.UK and Europe driving, must be flexible with nights out.We are ideally looking for experienced drivers who have travelled into Europe before (mainly Belgium).Due to the night out requirement, your comfort is extremely important to them.
