Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking an experienced LGV Class 1 Driver to join DHL International at Cross Green, Leeds for the busy seasonal period from November through to Christmas.

You will drive a Class 1 vehicle, perform vehicle checks, maintain delivery records, and provide excellent customer service at handover points. A driving assessment, CPC, and valid photo ID are required, with a 2-year work and address history.

Qualifications

• Pass a driving assessment (no minimum years of experience).
• 2-year work history that can be checked (gaps over 28 days need a gap reference).
• 2-year address history.
• Valid photo ID (passport, driving licence or ID card).
• UK Driving Licence [Category CE].
• Driver CPC.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Criminal record check (paid for by employer).

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 1 vehicle to and from the site.
• Performing pre/post vehicle checks and reporting any problems.
• Maintaining accurate records and proof of delivery or collection.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points.

DHL International, at their site based at

Cross Green, Leeds for the busy seasonal period from

November through to Christmas.

What We Offer:

45 hours worked

Monday - Friday, 2000 starts - finish around 0600

As we work at an airport regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority, all applicants must:

Pass a driving assessment (no minimum years of experience needed)
