DPD Group in the UK is inviting ambitious individuals to join our Workshop team as LGV Apprentices. You’ll study automotive engineering at college, gain hands-on experience from day one, and help keep the nation’s fleet on the road.

This 6-year progression takes you from VMU Apprentice to Fully Qualified LGV Mechanical Engineer, with a strong safety-first culture, 4-on, 4-off days, and a supportive, tech-forward environment in Hinckley.

Qualifications

• Must-haves: GCSE/Level 2 in Maths and English (or willingness to complete during apprenticeship).
• DNA: honest, hardworking, ready to flex and learn.

Responsibilities

• Attend college and gain formal qualifications in automotive engineering.
• Assist pro engineers with vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Help manage the workshop, maintain high standards, and learn the tech behind the trucks.
• Progress from learning to leading on tasks as you advance.
