DPDgroup seeks an LGV Apprentice at Hinckley Hub to join our engineering team. This full-time apprenticeship offers hands-on learning from day one, paired with college-based automotive engineering qualifications.

You’ll assist skilled engineers, help manage the workshop, and progress toward becoming a fully qualified LGV Mechanical Engineer. We value motivation, technical curiosity, and a readiness to excel in a fast-paced, safety‑first environment.

Qualifications

• Tech-savvy (Google Workspace) and detail-oriented.
• Must be 18+ and prepared to undertake an apprenticeship.
• Willingness to complete college-based qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on from Day 1, learning how to keep the nation's fleet on the road.
• Attend college to gain formal qualifications in automotive engineering.
• Assist experienced engineers with vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Help manage the workshop and maintain high standards in the garage.
• Progress from shadow-learning to leading tasks as you gain experience.
