Biffa Ltd is seeking a qualified HGV Driver Trainer to support safe and compliant driver operations. You will oversee induction, ongoing training, and performance reviews while maintaining accurate training records using Express Class.

The role requires a valid Class 2 HGV licence with CPC training, plus a strong track record in driver assessments and knowledge of Working Time Directive and related regulations. You will join a team focused on safety and continuous improvement across depots.

Competenze

• Must have 3+ years HGV driving experience across multiple modes.
• Proven ability to conduct driver assessments and inductions.
• Valid Class 2 HGV Licence with Digital Tachograph and CPC training.
• Basic understanding of HGV maintenance and reporting procedures.

• Support hiring with pre-employment assessments and 5-day Driver Induction.
• Provide regular refresher and mode training to drivers.
• Maintain driver competence records using Express Class.
• Offer reassessment and retraining after incidents.
• Analyse driving data with management to address needs.
• Conduct behavioural interventions and share vehicle updates.
• Drive continuous improvement of training delivery.
