Job summary

DPD Group is recruiting an LGV Driver in Enfield to join our national transport team. You’ll operate a modern LGV, undertake nationwide collections and deliveries, and coordinate trailer swaps while ensuring live loading is conducted efficiently and safely.

You will use GPS and tachographs to stay compliant, maintain strong relations with dispatchers and customers, and perform vehicle checks with a strong emphasis on safety on UK roads. A valid Class 1 licence and CPC are required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence, CPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 12 months of experience handling Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries, focusing on LGV-friendly locations.
• Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and digital tachographs to manage your route and remain 100% compliant.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prioritise safe driving in all conditions.
