Job summary

DPD UK is hiring a reliable LGV Driver to join our national transport team. You will drive a modern fleet, move bulk collections between DPD sites and major customers, and help keep the country moving.

The role offers a permanent 40-hour work week with a daytime schedule Monday to Friday, plus night rate premiums for shifts between 18:00 and 06:00. We emphasise career growth and a supportive, people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence, CPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 12 months of experience handling Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries with LGV vehicles.
• Manage trailer swaps and live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and digital tachographs to manage routes and remain compliant.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prioritise safe driving in all conditions.
