Job summary

DPD UK Warrington is seeking a reliable LGV driver to join our national transport team, operating a modern fleet and helping to keep the country moving. This is a permanent 40-hour-per-week role with Saturday to Wednesday shifts.

Pay starts at £16.35 per hour, plus £2.72 night-rate between 18:00 and 06:00, and enhanced overtime. The role focuses on nationwide collections and deliveries, trailer swaps, GPS-guided routes and full compliance with tachograph rules, while maintaining safety and

Qualifications

• UK Class 1 (CE) licence, CPC card, and Digital Tachograph card.
• Minimum 6 months experience with Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent knowledge of UK roads.
• Safety-first mindset and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries to DPD sites.
• Manage trailer swaps and live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and digital tachographs to plan routes and remain compliant.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country.
