Job summary

DPD UK Bridgwater is seeking a reliable LGV Driver to join a modern fleet and keep the country moving. This role focuses on nationwide collections and deliveries with a safety-first mindset and professional customer service.

You will operate from Bridgwater site, work Monday to Friday with 40 hours per week, and enjoy perks like holiday trading and enhanced family leave. Training and GPS/logistics tooling support are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 licence with CPC card and tachograph card.
• Experience handling Class 1 vehicles preferred.
• Safety-first approach and knowledge of UK roads.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries for bulk routes.
• Manage trailer swaps and live loading/unloading.
• Use GPS and tachographs to stay compliant.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers.
• Conduct pre- and post-vehicle safety checks.
