Job summary

Veolia is hiring an LGV Driver in Fleetwood, Lancashire. Salary is £14.71 per hour, with a 40-hour week from Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm. Location is Copse Road, Fleetwood, with benefits including pension, annual leave, and healthcare support.

You’ll drive to collection points, load recycling and waste, perform vehicle checks, and maintain safety and compliance while supporting Veolia’s mission to protect the environment and serve local communities.

Qualifications

Essential: Class 2 Driving Licence.
CPC / DIGI card required.
Ability to work confidently within a team.
Must have good communication skills.

Responsibilities

Drive to planned collection locations and load recycling and domestic waste into the vehicle.
Complete daily checks of the vehicle and use onboard technology to complete work notes.
Comply with all traffic laws and legislation.
Ensure a safe and clean work environment at all times.
Report service, safety and environmental issues.
Ensure accidents are documented and reported per procedures.
Carry out duties according to the programme of works and instructions.
